Owls
One of the most unforgettable moments in my wildlife photography journey was encountering my first wild barn owl. Although I haven’t had many opportunities to photograph owls yet, this experience easily stands out as my best bird sighting so far. While walking through a quiet churchyard, I was lucky enough to see a barn owl silently hunting before it perched on an old gravestone. As I watched from a distance, it turned and looked straight at me - an intense, almost surreal moment that I’ll never forget. The contrast between its ghostly white feathers and the weathered stone created a powerful, almost timeless scene. Moments like this are rare, and being able to witness such a beautiful bird in its natural behavior has only deepened my passion for capturing wildlife through the lens.
