Snow Bunting

When I first spotted the Snow Bunting, I could hardly believe my eyes as it’s such a rare sighting in my area and yet there it was hopping around calmly and completely unbothered by my presence. I slowly moved closer and to my amazement it allowed me to get at least within a few meters of it just pecking around the ground for recently planted seeds, perfectly posing in different positions as if I had asked! This allowed me to capture so much detail in such a rare bird. Moments like this are super rare and what makes wildlife photography so special. This encounter easily makes my top 5 wildlife encounters so far!
